Fineos Family Day!

So, yesterday was the inaugural FINEOS Family Day!!!!

Oz being Oz, this obviously comprised of a barbie and some beers! A good time was had by all in the fantastic Centennial Park, located in the Sydney suburbs, about a 15 minute bus ride from home.

In all, about 20 people attended and there was some amazing things slung on the barbie! On that note, the public barbie wasn't the usual grimy brick built job; it was this....

Now this is what you call a barbie! It was a gas job and it's use was totally free! Can you believe it?

So after the food and some cold beers (kept in an 'Esky' - like a cool box, but with ice in it), it was time for soft-ball (that's Rounders to you and me!). After my initial flash-back to school PE (it was that long ago, the flash-back was in sepia), it turned out to be a bit of a laugh! Phil and I even managed to hit the damn ball, which is a distinct improvement from school!

So, as the sun set, we sat chatting eating the left overs glad that the inaugural FINEOS Family Day had been a success.
